Description: The San Mateo Bayside watershed is located in northeastern San Mateo County. The watershed contains several freshwater reservoirs including San Andreas Lake, Lower Crystal Springs Reservoir and Upper Crystal Springs Reservoir. This is the most populated watershed in the study area, containing the communities of South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, Hillsborough, Burlingame, San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Atherton, Colma, and portions of Menlo Park and Daly City. The San Francisco International Airport, Golden Gate National Cemetery, and the County Exposition Center are found in the San Mateo Bayside Watershed. San Bruno Mountain State Park, Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, and other parks are preserves are located within the watershed.
