Youth Education and Employment Services

The Youth Education and Employment Services provides teens and young adults with opportunities for employment and education development.  We offer summer jobs and work experience through the Sonoma County Youth Ecology Corps, job placement assistance, including resume building and mock interview workshops.  We invite local employers to give presentations about their organizations or business and possible employment opportunities. We also match youth to apprenticeship programs, assist them in GED preparation and promote school attendance and engagement.

Funding for the Youth Education and Employment Services is made available by the Sonoma County Human
Services Department Employment and Training Division under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014.

"I finally got my GED!
After 20 years, I never
thought this would happen. With the help and
encouragement from
The Center's staff in the
SonomaWORKS program I
got it done.  I'm so excited
to share this with my kids."
