NATIVE PLANT NURSERY
INTERNSHIPS
|

The
Center partners with local school districts and community-based
organizations to provide hands-on, inquiry-based service-learning internships in
our California Native Plant Nursery.
Students volunteer weekly to perform tasks where they acquire
skills in
Nursery operations.
Internship activities include:
● plant identification● seed collection● propagation● maintenance● irrigation● fertilizer● Integrated Pest Management |
